Let me tell you a story ...

Whether it is the one you want to hear, or the one you want to tell — I can help.

Writing

Children’s poetry

Voice over

I specialize in finding the story. Whether that is through features, sponsored content, brand journalism or media releases, I find the narrative, then help you share it with the world.

With rhyme, rhythm, figurative language – and more than a little nonsense – I use joy and wordplay to write children’s poetry, and I share my love of it with a curriculum-based workshop for children in grades one through five.

Whether it’s a cold read or a practiced piece, I can offer you the sound, intonation and energy needed to convey your message. Whether it’s narration, commercial or character, I’ve got it covered.

The Workshop

This four-level, curriculum-based poetry workshop
offers an age-specific understanding of poetry and its
concepts in a fun and engaging lesson. From understanding rhyme and rhythm, to working with stressed and unstressed syllables, each class can finish with a craft – or writing
opportunity for older students.

“Jenny Lamothe is a consummate professional. I love working with a freelancer who doesn’t require babysitting. In every story she’s produced for me, the copy has been clean and clear, not to mention excellently written. Jenny always goes above and beyond. Never once have I had to ask her to refile or rewrite a piece. If I had one hundred Jenny Lamothes, my life would be so much easier.”

“Jenny always goes above and beyond.”
